Customer Service

All the products we sell on this site are new and carry a full manufacturers' warranty. If you have a problem with the product all you need to do is email us cs@gardening-tools-direct.co.uk. We along with our suppliers and network of repair specialists will help you resolve any problems you may have.

Delivery

We dispatch around 97% of our machinery orders within 24hrs of recieving the order. However, if we see any likely delays in completing and dispatching your order we will contact you immediately. Barbecues are normally dispatched within 5-7 days. Sheds and greenhouses can take between 15 - 20 days. Should you have any queries at the time of making your purchase, or anytime afterwards, please feel free to contact cs@gardening-tools-direct.co.uk . Please note we only deliver for free to mainland UK excluding the highlands of Scotland. We DO NOT delivery free to the following postcodes: IV1 - IV63, KW1 - KW14, PA20 - PA40, PA41, PA42, PA 60, PA61, PA62, PA67, PA77, PA78, KY15 - KW17, PH19 - PH40, PH60 onwards, HS postcodes and ZE postcodes. If you live in one of these areas, please contact us to check the cost of delivering the item.

Returns & Refunds policy

You have the right to cancel or return any product within 7 days without giving a reason. Just phone us and we will arrange it, the only cost to you being the return carriage. All we ask is that you ensure that it is in its original packing and still in new condition.

If your product is damaged, contact us on cs@gardening-tools-direct.co.uk as soon as you can. You must also mark on the delivery note any damage to any part of the product you have received (this requires you to open packaging). If you don't it may jeopardise a subsequent claim for damage. We want all our customers to be fully satisfied with not only our products, but our service also.

Looking after the Environment

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the disposal of waste electronic equipment. WEE can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health and the disposal of WEE should be completed in the correct way to minimise the effects on our environment. All WEEE goods should be marked with a crossed out wheelie bin symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005 and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled. All local authority tips have this facility. Internet Retail Technologies Ltd are “doing our bit” for the environment by offering our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when you buy a new electrical or electronic product. EG. If a customer buys a new electric hedge cutter from us we will accept your old electric hedge cutter to prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. To take advantage of this offer, customers must return their WEEE product to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item. All you have to do is call us on  the number at the top of this page and we will arrange collection.
