Drought Tolerant Lawn.

A Drought Tolerant Lawn mixture is designed for unpredictable climatic conditions and situations of scarce water resources.

This lawn is a specific combination of fine leaved grasses, which will provide an ornamental lawn of very high quality coupled with durability. Once established, the lawn will be ideal for areas where water is a scarce commodity and will reduce the watering requirements for the maintenance and upkeep of the lawn.

An example seed type mixture for this type of lawn would be : 40% Strong Creeping Red Fescue for binding the lawn together, 10% Smooth-Stalked Meadow Grass for wear tolerance, 5% Bentgrass which provides a base to the lawn, 25% Chewings Fescue and 20% Slender Creeping Red Fescue. These are fine leaved and tolerant of close mowing.
