User tips for trimmers
and Ryobi Brush Cutters
Before using a trimmer or Ryobi brush cutters,
make sure you are familiar with the manual, and are
confident in completing the particular garden job. For
safety, also remember that any rotating cutting tools
can throw objects or cut the operator. Trimmers and
brush cutters can be equally as dangerous.

be sure that the throttle lever springs back to idle
position.
D/ Check that
the blades or cord coil is adjusted properly and is
tight.
E/ Replace bent,
warped, damaged or dull cutting apparatus.
F/ Select equipment
with anti-vibration components. If you are using this
for jobs in the larger home garden, you will be thankful
you chose the right Ryobi brush cutter.

well-fitting overalls, jeans or long pants.

(especially children) away from starting and brush
cutter operating areas.

or trimmer on firm ground or other solid surfaces
in an open area.

adjust the harness to suit the working position it will
become uncomfortable very quickly.
H/ Use a Ryobi
brush cutter at ground level only.

cutter engine before cleaning out clogged or
stuck cutter.
J/ Stop the engine
before putting the brush cutter or trimmer

the spark plug when the equipment is left unattended.
