March allotment greenhouse
The leeks are springing out of their compost, but I still think I’m not going to have enough of them – I probably need to start another tray of seeds. The Nantes carrots are showing pretty well now, and I’ve got some more nasturtium seeds on the go. The peas have almost all germinated – about thirty have appeared between 8am and midday!
And last night the frost was this heavy … I feel quite depressed when I think about it.

It does start to get busy as soon as March arrives. All my tomatoes are through and potted on, so that's one job done. The leeks are up, but I'm still going to sow some more, and some flowers have germinated too. Apart from that I'm hanging back a bit. The allotment still isn't dug over, and I had such good plans at the back end of last year.

I'm so far behind every one else it just isn't funny...but today the weather has been nice and maybe tomorrow i will sort something out!!!!
We are holding on for better weather til we sow anything - from experience we know they will catch up. The snowdrops cheer me up though.
