Gardening Tools Direct was founded in 2003. Its aim was to bring together e-commerce skills with well established delivery and fulfilment skills of the manufacturing sector. It was their aim to develop an e-commerce business with fulfilment and cost saving at the fore. Gardening Tools Direct went live in January 2004.

Our goals fall into 4 areas:

1/ Low Cost Supplier: Gardening Tools Direct's aim is to provide quality products at the lowest prices. We aim to provide significant savings on the standard high street retail prices. We do this by keeping our costs to an absolute minimum.

We constantly price-analyse the market to ensure we are offering as good or better prices than our competitors in at least 85% of cases. Due to ad hoc special offers that our competitors run, we have as yet not reached 100%, but we continue to try.

2/ Service: All products carry full manufactures warranties and an extensive dealer network can provide any servicing facility you may require.

At Gardening Tools Direct we have tried to provide a variety or products so we have something for everyone's requirement. However, we have kept our range to quality products only, and products we know we and our suppliers can support.

3/ Fulfilment: Selling physical product over the Internet is fraught with problems. We started Gardening Tools Direct because we knew we could compete in this area. Around 95% of the products we carry will be delivered to your doorstep at no charge. If there is a delivery charge for a product we tell you on the product description page, well before you start placing your order. Delivery charges tend to be for items delivered on a pallet, or items that require a 'Pre Delivery Inspection' such as ride on mowers.

Where ever possible we despatch the same day as the order is received. The vast majority of orders reach the customer within 48hrs of the order being placed. If there is a delay, we will contact you.

4/ Honesty and openness: We hope you will feel confident and secure in buying products from our web site. If you want to ask a question prior to placing your order, please do not hesitate to contact us. If you have any queries post order or post delivery, again, we believe it is our duty to provide any ongoing support to ensure your complete satisfaction with product and service.
